Working in the CHIPS therapeutic foster care program is demanding even in the best of times, but during the holiday season, the challenges multiply. This past December, when multiple team members were out, Shannon Spann, CHIPS clinical manager, stepped up in an extraordinary way, ensuring that every child and foster family continued receiving the care they needed.

With two therapists already scheduled for time off, another team member鈥攚ho was covering multiple homes鈥攔equested PTO to prepare for a critical certification exam. Understanding the importance of professional growth while prioritizing client care, Shannon took it upon herself to cover all necessary therapeutic home visits, even making a visit on New Year鈥檚 Day to accommodate a foster family鈥檚 schedule. Her unwavering commitment to both her colleagues and the families they serve exemplifies LifeView Group鈥檚 mission and values.

Beyond her day-to-day responsibilities, Shannon plays a vital role as a supervisor for Bachelor of Social Work and Licensed Clinical Social Worker interns, shaping the next generation of social workers with her leadership and expertise. Her dedication, adaptability and willingness to go above and beyond make her an invaluable part of the CHIPS team and 瓜神 as a whole.

Congratulations, Shannon!
