Allison joined the organization in January 1999 and became vice president and chief financial officer in February 2003. In August 2014, the board promoted Allison to chief operating officer. In 2016 she accepted a promotion to serve as the third CEO in ’s history.
At , Allison is responsible for the daily functions of a $270 million, 2,800-employee human services organization. The team makes an impact in multiple states and the District of Columbia. Allison serves in the UWF Executive Mentoring program and on the UWF College of Business Advisory Council. She is a Lifetime Member of Leadership Florida, graduating from Cornerstone Class 36. Additionally, Allison is a member of the Rotary Club of Pensacola and serves on local and statewide boards of directors, including the Florida Network of Youth and Family Services.
Allison is passionate about inclusion and engages her team through regular, transparent communications. For instance, she frequently shares “selfie video” updates and hosts regular “Ask Allison” forums. These online sessions give all team members the opportunity to share questions, concerns or ideas. Also, Allison is a strong proponent of diversity. Half of her executive team is comprised of women. Under Allison’s leadership, launched employee resource groups to bring together groups including veterans, remote workers and intergenerational employees.
